On December 12, H.E. Keijo Ensio Norvanto - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary - Embassy of Finland in Vietnam visited Tra Vinh University (TVU) along with a delegation from the embassy. The delegation was formally received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University, and Heads of related units within TVU.

During the discussion, both sides enthusiastically explored potential areas for future collaboration. Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khanh, Head of the Department of International Affairs, mentioned that TVU is currently engaged in cooperation with Finnish schools or institutions on the Tampere University's digital transformation project (2021-2023) and is actively seeking further collaboration opportunities.

As a result of H.E Keijo Ensio Norvanto's visit, Tra Vinh University proposed several areas for potential cooperation in the future. These include workforce training and digital transformation, the establishment of a finishing education model at the Laboratory School which is under Tra Vinh University, and entrepreneurship training for Tra Vinh University’s students.

H.E. Keijo Ensio Norvanto expressed interest and commitment to initiating new collaborative initiatives, recognizing the potential for mutual benefits and the enhancement of academic efforts.

In response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University, expressed gratitude for the visit and hoped that H.E. Keijo Ensio Norvanto and the delegation would consider feasible areas for implementation collaborating with Tra Vinh University in the near future. The focus of the potential collaboration includes education, workforce development, and digital transformation.
